The design and construction of these facilities was guided by the strong belief that small buildings matter.

The Robert Burnaby and Kensington Park Wahsroom Buildings, along with the Swalwell Park Washroom Building, are winners of a 2009 AIBC Lieutenant-Governor Awards Medal, and the Kensington Park washroom is the recipient of a 2008 Masonry Institute of British Columbia Award of Excellence.

Both projects were featured in the August 2009 edition of Canadian Architect magazine.
